Get out and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts! This weekend calls for rain.
What better way to appreciate our blue skies and rainless day, than by packing a lunch and heading out to Chief Charles Ames Memorial Park on the Clackamas River.
I've always especially enjoyed the view of the river from the park bench and down the paved trail. You just can't beat the relaxation of sitting for a spell and watching the rushing water flow by.
As soon as I find out the history of Chief Charles Ames, I'll post the information.
